Luna nodded, in response to his question. She was used to facing things alone, of course it didn’t make it any better. She found herself glad for his company.
She rubbed her thumb on the back of her hand. “I’d rather you not mention… that.” It was probably the last thing she wanted to even think about. It brought back memories, which were all to vivid. She tried storing them in the back on her mind and closing them off like she did with so many other memories, but it just doesn’t work.
It’s not that he really wanted to talk about it either– quite glad that the girl had asked for that, something that he too was secretly hoping for. Even to this day, he had problems trying to wrap his head around everything. Though not healing, he felt better to ignore what’d happen rather than face it head on.
